PassMeFast is proof that intensive driving courses don’t need to be crammed into 5 day timeframes. Where others offer one-size-fits-all courses, we offer flexibility over the way you take your lessons.
To begin with, there are nine different PassMeFast intensive driving courses to choose from. These range from our shortest course, lasting just 10 hours, which is ideal for those who are almost test-ready. Total beginners, meanwhile, are better suited to our longest, 48-hour course.
Each course can be taken at either a fully intensive or semi-intensive pace, depending on your availability and commitments outside of driving. No matter how you structure your lessons, however, you’ll still get the same level of service: one-on-one tuition from a DVSA-approved professional driving instructor who knows the local area like the back of their hand.
Manual vs automatic is a battle that’s hard to resolve—something that isn’t made easier by the many misconceptions surrounding both gearboxes.
There are certainly some pros to going auto, with no gear changes nor clutch pedal to worry about. This can be particularly handy when you get stuck in a traffic jam!
However, manual cars still tend to be cheaper to both buy and service, and many drivers find that they offer a superior driving experience.
It’s also worth noting that automatic cars aren’t an ‘easy option’. If you’re hoping to get a guaranteed pass out of choosing an automatic transmission, it simply won’t happen—learning to drive means putting the work in, manual or automatic!
Both transmission options have their advantages—and at PassMeFast, we believe which you learn in should be your call. That’s why we offer courses in both automatic and manual cars. Simply make your choice when you book in.
Our office team will work behind the scenes to sort out all the admin for your course, and ensure everything runs like clockwork.
We’ll structure your course so that your lessons take place in the run-up to your practical. This helps to ensure that, by the time that test date rolls around, you’ll know the local roads by heart, with your newfound knowledge fresh in your mind.

Learners in Merton will likely have one destination in mind when it comes to taking the practical test: Morden test centre, in the middle of the borough. Lying just outside the boundaries (though, somewhat confusingly, named after a town in Merton) is the Mitcham test centre, which is a useful choice for learners in the east of the borough. To learn more about what you should be aiming (not) to do on your test, visit our primer to driving test faults.
Did you know that our courses are designed to give you the best chance of passing. Lessons are scheduled just ahead of your test, keeping learning fresh.

None of London’s eight theory test centres lie within Merton’s borders. With this in mind, you’ll need to travel to take your test—with the best choice varying by your exact location. If you’re in Wimbledon, a good option would be to head west to nearby Kingston upon Thames. Learners in Mitcham, meanwhile, are better served by Croydon test centre to the east.
PassMeTheory is an online theory revision session, where we go over the most difficult areas of the test. 9 out of 10 people said they felt more confident about their test after their session.

Compared to some London boroughs, Merton is home to relatively few primary routes. The A3 makes only a brief incursion into the borough west of Raynes Park, with the most prominent A road here being the A24, which traverses Morden and Colliers Wood. This isn’t to say you won’t see some heavy traffic here from time to time, especially on roads such as Merton High Street and the Merantun Way.
If taking your test here, you’ll also need to gain an awareness of features such as the one-way system present in parts of Morden town centre through to the rules surrounding box junctions you’ll find in areas such as Mitcham. To pass your test (and, of course, for everyday driving later on), you’ll need a solid knowledge of how deal with not only these scenarios, but how to drive safely on urban, residential and rural roads. Thankfully, with comprehensive tuition from your PassMeFast instructor, you’ll be able to do just that—within weeks.
No matter whether you call Merton home or live elsewhere in the capital, PassMeFast is here to help you get on the road. That’s because we offer intensive driving courses everywhere in Greater London—a few more areas we cover are…
